Are you considering joining the Odd Fellows organization?

A man or woman of good moral character, who is loyal to his or her country and believes in a Supreme Being, is eligible for membership. Unlike other Fraternal Orders in this state, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows not only includes independently run Rebekah Lodges for women, but we also welcome women into the men’s lodges – if they so choose. At present, one third of the active membership of Hermann Dexter Lodge #133 in Dedham, MA is made up of dedicated and community spirited young women.

Odd Fellowship strictly forbids any interference with one’s religious beliefs or political opinions. We are not a religious order or a simple club; we are a fraternity of men and women that is working for the elevation of one’s character, the relief of distress and the general improvement of mankind. We are non-denominational and non-sectarian. The Jurisdiction of Massachusetts requires that candidates for the adult lodges be a minimum of 16 years of age.
