Formed in April of 1849,
Hermann Dexter Lodge #133 has been dedicated to our mission statement.
“To Educate The Orphan, Comfort the Distressed, Visit the Sick, and Bury The Dead, all while adhering to the principle of treating one another from the standpoint of Friendship, Love, and Truth with the hope it will elevate the character of mankind.”
Highest Elected Officer of an Independent Lodge. Oversees all lodge Officers duties and runs all meetings. Maintains that all lodge protocols are adhered to during all meetings.
2nd Highest Elected Officer of an Independent Lodge. Maintains control of the inner door. Confirms that any member seeking admittance knows the Password of the Current Term. Also, acts in conjunction with the Noble Grand in maintaining order in meetings, and in the Noble Grand’s absence, runs the meeting and enforces all applicable laws.
Keeps accurate records of the transactions of the Lodge. Records meeting minutes of every meeting
To have charge of the funds of the Lodge; to be correct, careful, and honest, and secure the Lodge against any loss of possibilty of loss. To pay all orders drawn on the Treasurer by the Noble Grand, attested by the Secretary, and to keep accurate accounts so that the Lodge can be informed of its financial condition at any time.
